I know this feeling. Finding one elegant and quiet spot in a hectic mess, and feeling a sort of normality again.
The picture tells a thousand words but your caption is just perfect.

Well, I felt a little silly posting it (the burden of feeling I should write profound words every time!). But it seemed such a concept to me, (and a personal portrait) I couldn't help setting up the table and taking the picture (unfortunately, I didn't put it to good use and the bottle remains unopened).

Thanks for seeing it!

Hello there.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog...your comments were so nice!

I read your fishing post, and was especially drawn to your words about sailing. I have always always wanted to go sailing. I live right on the ocean but I don't know anyone with a sailboat! One day I will get to experience it...it must feel like flying, just over the surface of the water...with the wind rushing and the water spraying.
Yes..I must go sailing.
I understand too..the connection part of fishing..I had many wonderful times with my grandfather while we fished together, and it means the world to me to have those memories..I suppose some aspects of fishing are wonderful.
